Dohop.com, a travel search engine, has been introduced in India for the first time, and will be enable passengers to search all domestic airlines in India (including low-cost and traditional), as well as internationally (including European low-cost airlines), covering a total of 650 airlines, to find optimal routes and connections for desired fares. The service is freely available and the total search time is only three seconds.

According to founder and general manager Frosti Sigurjonsson, more and more travellers use the Internet to plan and book their flights directly. dohop.com is designed to make this complex task easier than ever before." He adds, "With dohop.com travellers can find all the options, refine the results and check prices in just a few seconds."

More than 200 travel suppliers and airlines across the world have contacted the company, which is making extensive use of the latest Web 2.0 technologies, and will show rates of airlines and travel agent websites to facilitate online booking.

Dohop.com makes optimum use of the latest technologies to enable its searches to be user-friendly with an interactive drill down, dynamic filters and sorting of search results.

Dohop.com was the flight search to include low-cost airlines in its searchable database.
