Star Navigation starts ISMS marketing mission

Campaign to help Star Navigation gain headstart ahead of Asian Aerospace Show 2006 at Changi

BY A CORRESPONDENT
February 9, 2006

Star Navigation Systems Group has started a 14-day international marketing mission to demonstrate its new product - the In-flight Safety Monitoring System (ISMS). The mission is mainly aimed at airline operators and government officials in Europe, India, Pakistan and the Middle East.

Ahead of the Singapore show, Star's marketing teams will be showcasing the ISMS to prospective customers across the globe on how ISMS will lead to increased profitability and better passenger safety.

The team will also meet government officials to demonstrate ISMS' capability in specialized regulatory and military environments.

Viraf Kapadia, chairman and CEO said: "Like the Dubai air show, the Singapore air show being held from February 21st to the 26th is one of the most prestigious aviation events in the world. In Singapore, Star's ISMS (TM) patented technology will be presented to airline, government, and military representatives from over 47 countries. This 14-day marketing mission gives us a headstart in what should be a very busy time for us."

Star Navigation is currently having talks with airline operators worldwide for the sale and installation of its ISMS product.
