Satyam aerospace practice gets certifications

Sataym Computer has received American and European certifications for its aerospace practice. The company said that the certifications will help it attract new clients.

Satyam received the AS9100 from the US Society of Automotive Engineers and EN 9100 from the European Association of Aerospace Industries. "AS9100 / EN9100 is very significant to Satyam Engineering Solutions group. It reaffirms the processes that we follow for developing solutions to the aerospace industry are of international standards as required by the existing norms of the aero industry. This certification will open up markets for Satyam and reaffirm confidence in its existing customers on Satyam's capability," said C R Nagaraj, senior vice president, Satyam.

The certifications are the aerospace industry’s quality system standard for quality assurance in design, development, production, installation and servicing.

9100/EN9100 is the first global aerospace standard that meets the requirements of aerospace companies, a company release said adding that these standards ensure quality and safety in the aerospace industry.
