A Qantas Boeing 747 traveling from London "lost power from all four of its main generators 15 minutes away from Bangkok, and the pilot was forced to switch to battery back-up for the landing," The Sydney Morning Herald reports. The Australian newspaper says the Monday incident "is set to prompt a worldwide alert to Boeing 747 operators after the problem was traced to a cracked drip tray under the first-class galley."
