THE basic aim and object of civil aviation body in any country is to provide infrastructure for the promotion and regulation of civil aviation activities and to coordinate civil air transport services.
For this purpose, various countries have established separate departments or authorities under the name of Civil Aviation Authority/Department or Civil Aviation Ministries and have separated the function of Civil Authorities/Departments/Ministries that are governed under the rules and regulation provided by the International Civil Aviation Organisation, commonly known as ICAO, whose head Office is in Montreal, Canada.
