A link failure at Patna airport threw the airport systems into chaos on Saturday. An underground BSNL cable was damaged, due to which computer networks at the airport failed. Tickets and boarding passes had to be issued manually at the Patna airport. All three airlines operating flights from the Patna airport - Indian, Air Sahara and Air Deccan were affected. It is expected that the systems will be back to normal on Sunday.
