El Al Airlines of Israel is starting its fourth weekly flight from Mumbai to Tel Aviv from October 1. The Mumbai-Tel Aviv non stop flight is conveniently timed to depart Mumbai early Morning on Sunday, which is the first working day of the week in Israel.
El Al will deploy a Boeing 767-Extended Range aircraft to service this route.
According to an El Al statement, the airline continues to be the preferred choice or Indian businessmen and diamond merchants who look for a direct Mumbai-Israel flight.
El Al said that the airline is making major investments to upgrade and renew its infrastructure. El Al is acquiring new aircraft and refurbishing its upper classes to endear itself to a wider clientele.
The Boeing-767ER aircraft flying from Tel Aviv to Mumbai will be installed with digital servers enabling improved viewing quality and enrichment of content matter in in-flight entertainment, El Al Airlines said.
Master chefs from Israel and chefs from Mumbai's Taj SATS Air Catering Ltd. have paid close attention to preparing meals to suit the Indian and Israeli palette, it added.
