New Delhi, May 8: A crucial meeting of an inter-ministerial group (IMG) will take place at the civil aviation ministry on Friday that is likely to throw up firm proposals to tackle the "dwell time" that refers to the waiting time for passengers at airports. The meeting will be attended by officials of the finance and civil aviation ministries.
Due to rapidly-growing air-traffic in the country, growing air-traffic control congestion and inadequate infrastructure of airports, passengers are having to spend more time at airports, resulting in severe passenger inconvenience.
