Just came across a job vacancy advertisement by Oman Air in today's Mumbai Mirror which calls for "First Officer B-737 NG" for the Muscat-based airline.
Requirements put out by Oman Air are below:
Minimum HSC
Must possess total 2000 hours of flying hours experience
MEIR on JAR-25 type aircraft 1500 hours
Must have flying experience not less than 100 hours on B-737 NG or equivalent of 500 hours
Holder of ATPL recognized by ICAO with current type rating
Not exceeding 55 years in age
Candidate selected by Oman Air will be responsible to assist the captain and for ensuring smooth flight operations as per the prescribed flight plan and adhere to all flight safety norms laid down in flying safely.
