Garry Kingshott will supervise Jet Airways marketing, airport services and customer service

Jet Airways has announced the appointment of Garry Kingshott as the
chief commercial officer of the company, in the wake of Peter Luethi
leaving Jet Airways as its chief operating officer. Jet Airways,
India's largest private sector airline said that it does not plan to
fill in the position of COO soon.
As the Jet Airways chief commercial officer, Garry Kingshott, an
Australian national, will report to Jet Airways CEO Wolfgang
Prock-Schaeur. The vacuum emerged at the top end of Jet Airways with
the retirement of its chief operating officer Peter Luethi, whose
contract expires this April.
Mr Garry Kingshott has over a decade's experience in the aviation
business. At Jet Airways, Garry Kingshott will supervise marketing and
sales, commercial, airport services, and all areas of customer
service.
Jet Airways has a large fleet 42 Boeing planes in the
737-400/700/800/900 series, three Airbus A340-300E planes and eight
modern ATR 72-500 turboprops. Jet Airways claims that roughly 24,000
air travellers board its flights every day on its 290 flights to 48
locations. |
