Kingfisher Airlines, the first domestic carrier to introduce a premium First Class service for travelers flying on domestic routes has announced a special facility for travellers from Bangalore, Delhi and Mumbai - Ticketing via any of the State Bank of India (SBI) ATMs or any of the SBI Group's allied ATMs across these cities.

All a passenger needs to do is follow the below mentioned simple procedure:

Call up Kingfisher Airlines Call Centre number and inform the executive about the desired sector, date and time of travel. The executive will give the guest a Booking Reference Number (BRN).

-- The passenger can then go to any of the SBI or allied ATMs (in Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai) and insert his ATM/debit card, follow the regular procedure by entering his/her PIN to access his/her account information.

-- The screen will display an option requesting the guest to enter his/her BRN number.

-- After entering the BRN number the passenger can access all the flight details and the amount payable on the screen.

-- After checking the correctness of the information the passenger can confirm the booking by pressing YES option and the amount gets automatically debited from his/her account and the transaction is completed.

-- The passenger then carries along the transaction slip that is generated at the ATM, to the nearest Kingfisher Airlines Ticketing center and on display of this transaction receipt the executive at the center will hand over the ticket to the passenger.

The service is powered by FSS. Added Mr. Rudhraapathy, Director, FSS, the service enabler, "We are pleased to partner with State Bank of India and Kingfisher Airlines in this innovative service. FSS solutions power over 75% of card based transactions for major banks in the country, with SBI group alone accounting for over 40 million transactions a month. Through FSSNeT, FSS offers value added services such as mobile to-pup, bilateral and multilateral ATM transaction sharing and e-Ticketing. FSS has pioneered the e-Ticketing payment services over ATMs. FSSNeT now enables State Bank of India?s over 17 million debit cardholders in making online payments to Kingfisher Airlines on a 24/7 basis on all SBI ATMs countrywide."

Commenting on this unique tieup Mr. Manoj Chacko, General Manager Sales, Kingfisher Airlines said, "This tie up will now enable our guests to do their travel bookings while on the move. It will facilitate enhanced convenience to our guests in the cities of Bangalore, Delhi and Mumbai, which are key revenue generating markets for us."
