Kingfisher, Air Arabia tie up for Gulf travel
Travel from Gulf to Indian cities flight cheaper, simpler with tie-up

Air Arabia LLC and Kingfisher Airlines have joined hands to offer
passengers travelling from the Gulf to the Indian cities of Kolkata,
Goa, Cochin, Bangalore and Delhi, and vice versa, access to their
destinations with a single reservation (via Mumbai) along with a
savings of 30% against competing airlines. Air Arabia's Head of Sales,
AK Nizar said, "Our exceptional partnership with Kingfisher is yet
another innovative offer from Air Arabia to offer convenient and value
for money travel to those who really need it. We offer extremely good
connections both ways as well as easy bookings."
Air Arabia is the first international low-budget airline in India.
This is also the first ever tie-up for the Middle East region between
two web-cased carriers, allowing passengers of both airlines to book
their flights through Air Arabia's website (www.airarabia.com)
Air Arabia said in a statement: "with one reservation confirmation,
customers will be able to travel on Air Arabia to Mumbai and then
onwards to other Indian destinations on Kingfisher. This alliance
marks a milestone in aviation history, featuring the creative
implementation of web-based technology to make travel options simpler
and more affordable, which is what both airlines believe in."
Fares start from Rs 6800 excluding taxes and surcharges for one-way
journeys. Fares for one-way trips from Sharjah start from AED 399 from
Sharjah to Goa, AED 499 from Sharjah to Bangalore, AED 520 from
Sharjah to Cochin and to Delhi and AED 599 from Sharjah to Kolkata,
excluding taxes and surcharges Air Arabia is also offering visit visa
services for passengers arriving at Sharjah.
Recently, Air Arabia had announced an additional daily flight between
Mumbai and Sharjah from December 1, 2005 to January 31, 2006.
