Kingfisher's umbrellas for rain-harried travellers

Valets will be employed at airports to carry big canopy size umbrellas and escort guests

Vijay-Mallya owned Kingfisher Airlines has announced new measures to take care of disturbances during monsoon. On days of heavy rains, valets will be employed at airports to carry big canopy size umbrellas and escort guests. Kingfisher Airlines will also provide complimentary umbrellas to all their guests at the airports on such bad weather days.

‘King Mobile’ will enable passengers to get the latest flight information on his or her cell phone, via SMS. Passengers can keep themselves updated at all times as information on schedules, flight status and guest assistance numbers in various cities and flight schedules can be availed of instantly, just by typing “King” and sending an SMS to 6388.

Helpline and Call Centre numbers will be displayed at various touch points, with regular updates via tickers and scrolls on leading radio and TV Channels. For the privileged members of Kingfisher Airlines ‘King Club’, e- mails will be sent with the helpline numbers and other pertinent information. In all cities serviced by Kingfisher Airlines, flyers with helpline numbers and easy contact information will be disseminated at the airports. Kingfisher Airlines commenced operations on May 9th, 2005 with a brand new fleet of aircraft. Kingfisher Airlines also facilitates doorstep delivery of tickets on request.
