This is the first time that an airline in India has flown 36,406
passengers from its available capacity of 42,522 seats on its domestic
and international sectors, Jet Airways said in a press release.
This achievement can be attributed to the seamless coordination
between management, marketing and sales, aptly supported by the highly
efficient revenue & yield management system of Jet Airways, it said.
Since inception in May 1993 until end-January 2006, Jet Airways has
flown over 58.8 million passengers.
Jet Airways is India's largest private airline and operates a fleet of
42 classic and next generation Boeing 737-400/700/800/900 aircraft,
