Indian Airlines debuts Desh Videsh scheme

Indian Airlines (now Indian) has come out with "Desh Videsh 2006" scheme which offers reward tickets to passengers completing the requisite travel within the time frame from February 6 to May 5, 2006.

The Desh Videsh scheme offers a reward of one international or domestic return ticket of two coupons in "M" class. The total value of the travel is Rs 75,000. The scheme also offers a reward of one international or domestic return ticket of 2 coupons in "C/J" class.

The selected passengers will also get a reward of two international or domestic return tickets in "M" class for a total value of Rs 1.25 lakh. It also offers a reward of two international or domestic return tickets of 2 coupons in "C/J" class for a total value of Rs 1.60 lakh.

The total value of travel includes expenditure in rupees on domestic travel only. In order to avail of the facility, passengers should submit the original ticket jackets and boarding cards claiming their reward tickets by June 2006.

Indian had introduced an attractive "Unchecked Fares" scheme recently. The new Desh Videsh scheme is expected to attract more passengers to Indian.
