Paramount Airways to increase total number of flights to 24
New round-trips to Bangalore, Hyderabad and Kochi

Paramount Airways is planning to increase the total number of flights
to 24 per day on round trips on Bangalore, Hyderabad and Kochi routes
from the first week of March. This would an increase of around 18
services from the present six daily operations that is being conducted
by a single Embraer aircraft.
Paramount intends to induct a second Brazilian Embraer 72-seater jet
on February 22 that would be pressed into service for these
operations. Later, it will link all major Southern Indian points, with
exceptions of only Madurai, Thiruvananthapuram and Mangalore.
Paramount Airways would operate flights thrice daily to Bangalore,
twice to Hyderabad and once to Kochi. It will be carrying 1,700
passengers daily, an increase from the present 420 passengers ferried
on a daily basis.
The induction of the second Embraer jet would facilitate convenient
connections to Hyderabad, Kochi and Chennai from Bangalore. Paramount
plans to expand to more business destinations soon. However, the
destinations are yet to be decided.
