Paramount Airways launches Chennai-Delhi flight

Paramount Airways, an all-business class airline which was launched last year has entered the metro segment with the launch of a Chennai-Delhi flight. Paramount Airways is promoted by a South India-based textiles group.

The Paramount Airways Chennai-Delhi flight was launched on December 21, 2005.

Paramount Airways is pegged as an affordable business-class airline. the fares on Paramount Airways are lower than those of business class seats in conventional carriers.

The Paramount Chennai-Delhi flight leaves Chennai at 1030 in the morning and reaches Delhi at 1315. On its return journey, the flight leaves at 1515 in the afternoon and reached Chennai at 1745 in the evening.

With the addition of the Delhi-Chennai flight, paramount Airways has rescheduled the Coimbatore-Chennai flight to leave Coimbatore at 0845 in the morning.

As per the seat configuration, all the seats on the Paramount Airways is either a window-seat or an aisle seat. There are no middle seats.

Each flight carries 70 passengers, assisted by four crew members. Paramount Airways is flying Embraer aircraft to operate its routes.
