SRINAGAR FLIGHTS

Kingfisher to fly to Srinagar from Delhi, Mumbai

Kingfisher Airlines will now be operating flights between Mumbai to Srinagar and Delhi to Srinagar. Kingfisher Airlines General Manager (Sales) Manoj Chacko said, "We believe this connectivity will boost business as well as tourist traffic to Kashmir. We expect to expand flight options across our network in the months ahead."

The additional destinations mean that Kingfisher's tally of daily flights as crossed 70, and its list of destinations is now 16 cities within India.

The flights to Srinagar are also targeted towards passengers desiring more luxurious travel, as Kingfisher First is also available. Fares on the two routes will range from between Rs 5,875 and 29,175.

Srinagar, famous for its lakes, gardens and houseboats, is one of India's most popular tourist destinations.
