Indian Airlines to increase flights from UAE to 75
Additional flights from Chennai, Calicut (Kozhikode)

Indian Airlines is planning to increase the number of daily flights to
the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to 75 per week, from June 1, 2006. The
airline has launched a daily flight on Dubai-Mumbai route, which is
being operated with an Airbus A320 aircraft.
The additional flights to UAE will depart from Chennai and Calicut and
the airline intends to operate non-stop flights between the two
destinations.
"The new flights will compliment operations through Sharjah, Ras Al
Khaimah and Fujairah, and increase the airlines' UAE operations to 75
flights per week. This will make it one of the largest and fastest
growing airlines operating out of UAE," Indian Airlines country
manager Aloke Singh said.
The flight to Chennai will depart from Dubai at 13.45 hours and will
arrive at Dubai at 19.00 hours, while the return flight will leave
Dubai at 12.00 hours and reach Chennai at 22.30 hours.
The flight to Calicut will depart Dubai at 02.00 hours reaching
Calicut at 07.00 hours, and in the return direction depart for Calicut
at 10.15 hours. It will back at 12.45 hours.
