Lufthansa's Hyderabad-Frankfurt daily non-stop flights
More destinations to be added in eastern and western India

Lufthansa Airlines has started a daily non-stop flight between
Hyderabad and Frankfurt, increasing the total number of flights
operated between India and Germany to 42 per week. Lufthansa has also
announced special flight fares between the destinations, with ticket
bookings open till April 30, 2005.
For travel to Europe, including Germany and UK, Lufthansa Airlines
tickets are priced at Rs 19,900, while the same to Chicago, Los
Angeles, New York, San Francisco will cost around Rs 38,000.
The airline has also introduced FlyNet, infilght internet
connectivity, and PrivateBed, a business class seat with in-flight
experience on this sector.
"Lufthansa's flight on the Hyderabad-Frankfurt sector has been well
received since launch in February last year. The high-seat load factor
on this route has been the key reason for us to more than double our
capacity in this sector," Lufthansa German Airlines general manager
Werner Heesen said.
Lufthansa Airlines is also exploring the possibility of adding new
destinations in the western and eastern region of India. A decision on
this was expected to take within the next 4-5 weeks.
Lufthansa currently operates 42 flights out of India per week; twice
daily flights from Delhi to Frankfurt and Munich, and once daily
flight to Frankfurt from Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad.
