FINNAIR's Delhi-Helsinki cargo service coming
Air Sahara now operates 140 daily flights, with new services to
Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Mumbai and Hyderabad

A non-stop scheduled cargo service between New Delhi and Helsinki will
commence in November 2006. The proposed thrice-weekly service will be
operated by the official carrier of Finland - FINNAIR with MD11
aircraft.
Each flight can carry up to 20 tonnes of cargo. FINNAIR hopes to
handle an estimated 180 tonnes of cargo per month between NewDelhi and
Helsinki.
This service is to benefit the Indian exporters to northern Europe
because FINNAIR is well-connected from its Helsinki hub to Scandinavia
and the CIS countries.
