British Airways to increase flights to India
More flights to Bangalore, Chennai also on cards

British Airways is hiking flight frequencies to India. From the
current 35, there will be 42 flights a week to Indian cities from
London Heathrow airport. British Airways is also shortly bringing out
online boarding passes for its passengers from India. BA will
introduce thrice-weekly flights to Kolkata from London.
At a press meet in Kolkata, British Airways officials said that the
airline has plans to operate five flights a week from Chennai and six
flights a week from Bangalore from May 4.
British Airways has invested two million pounds for their 'India, the
world is waiting' campaign. This was specifically targeted at the
Indian market. The airline also has plans to invest £200 million in
the coming year to upgrade their web and in-flight facilities.
British Airways has extensive worldwide network of 157 routes in 77
countries.
