Flights from UAE to India couldn't get cheaper

The Middle-East's first and only low-cost airline Air Arabia, has announced the addition of two new flights to India from the UAE -- Jaipur and Kochi. The Kochi flights will begin operations from May 1, and the flights to Jaipur from the middle of May.

Air Arabia will operate daily flights to the pink city of Jaipur, and four flights a week to Kochi. From 20th March, Air Arabia will be able to operate daily flights to Kochi as well. The airline is offering substantially cheaper tickets, with the fare to Kochi at 440 dirham exclusive of taxes. In comparison, Air India Express charges 2,006 dirham for the same destination. The Indian Airlines fare is set at 2,500 dirham, including taxes.

Air Arabia chairman Sheikh Abdullah Bin Mohammed Al Thani said, "We are delighted to be adding more destinations in India and to continue to give the opportunity to more people to go home more often at affordable fares. Our expansion to these two strategic destinations reinforces our commitment to the Indian market and we look forward to increasing our coverage in India in the future."

The additional flights mean that total number of Air Arabia flights flying into India are now 26. The two cities added are ideal holiday destinations for tourists. This is also good news for Indians in the Gulf region.
