Low-cost airline Air Deccan is launching flights to three cities in
Kerala - Cochin, Thiruvananthapuram and Kozhikode. The new Air Deccan
services start from February 1.
Besides the three Kerala cities, two more cities - Aurangabad and
Rajkot are also being added to the Air Deccan network, said a press
release. With the addition of these new routes, Air Deccan will be
flying to 51 locations in India.
Air Deccan is India's largest low-budget airline. The airline based in
Bangalore has been on an aggressive expansion plan. It is coming out
with an initial public offering (IPO) this April, and plans to add one
aircraft a month for the next nine years.
