Air Sahara launches ten more flights

Air Sahara now operates 140 daily flights, with new services to Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Mumbai and Hyderabad

Air Sahara has launched some new flights in the Delhi-Kolkata. Delhi-Hyderabad, Delhi-Mumbai and Delhi-Ahmedabad sectors. With the new flights, the total number of daily Air Sahara flights rise to 140 a day.

Said Air Sahara Executive Vice-President Alok Sharma: "We'll become the largest operator on Delhi-Kolkata and Delhi-Hyderabad sectors in coming weeks." The new flights rollout will start from the second half of this month. "Efforts are being made to position our major services in such a manner so as to connect the afternoon flights to London and Kathmandu and the evening ones to Singapore and Chicago," Sharma said.

Out of the ten new Air Sahara flights being added, six would be launched on January 15, two on January 20 and two on February one. Delhi-Mumbai and Mumbai-Delhi flights will be launched from January 20 and Delhi-Hyderabad and Hyderabad-Delhi from February 1.

Air Sahara tickets on Delhi-Ahmedabad and Mumbai-Ahmedabad will be priced for a week at Rs 1,999 including taxes, the introductory offer on other flights would be Rs 2,999.
The normal fares for Delhi-Kolkata start at Rs 4,222 and Delhi- Mumbai at Rs 3,888.

Air Sahara's Delhi-Kolkata flight will be an afternoon flight, which is not currently offered by any other airline. A late morning flight is also being added in the Delhi-Mumbai route.
