Air Dravidia low-cost airline planned

Air Dravidia, promoted a Chennai-based construction group, is set to take wings, adding to the fleet of newbie airlines taking to skies this year.

Air Dravidia is promoted by the Chennai-based Premier group. The company hopes to launch Air Dravidia flights between April and June this year.

According to reports, Air Dravidia's maiden flights will be serviced by Bombardier CRJ-200 jets.

Air Dravidia plans to start with offering flights to Southern cities initially.
