Those three lines may bring the sack for a Virgin
Atlantic stewardess who frightened passengers with screams

A Virgin Atlantic flight stewardess may be facing the sack or a
transfer to groundstaff duties after passengers on the Gatwick-Las
Vegas Virgin Atlantic 747 flight reported that during a 30-minute
alarmingly turbulent spell, the crewmember screamed and shouted "we're
crashing" at least three times.
The air hostess, allegedly named Wendy, is being blamed for causing
panic on board as agitated passengers said that their fears aggravated
when they heard a crewmember panic.
The plane, carrying 451 passengers and 18 crew, dropped alarmingly at
30,000 feet when it was hit by storms. According to reports, a man was
hurled to the ceiling while others clung to their seats, or crawled on
the floor.
Passengers reported being extremely scared, as well as noticing that
the flight crew seemed frightened. While some passengers said that
they thought the screams came from some other passenger, others like
Claire Daley, speaking to the Daily Mail, said she went to pieces to
hear the flight crew panicking. She added that every time the plane
dropped, the air hostess would scream, inducing others to start
screaming as well. A BBC journalist also confirmed that hearing flight
crew panic made him think something was seriously wrong.
Virgin has confirmed that these reports will be investigated. A
spokesperson told BBC: "The safety and security of passengers and crew
is Virgin Atlantic's top priority. The flight deck will always keep
passengers informed of expected flying conditions and where possible
will try to avoid areas of expected turbulence."
