Most Indian air travellers will be familiar with the whims and fancies of airlines while cancelling and rescheduling flights. Abdul Gafoor Kadavath an NRI banker working in Abu Dhabi, had a shock when he was told at the Mangalore airport that the confirmed Air India Express tickets he held with him for travel to Abu Dhabi were cancelled by the airline several days back without informing him. Kadavath has sued the airline for $13,615, demanding compensation for the harassment faced by him.
