The International Civil Aviation Day was marked last Friday under the theme “Global Air Transport – a driver of sustainable economic, social and cultural development”.
The International Civil Aviation Organization, ICAO chose the theme for this year’s global celebration of ICAO Day.
ICAO is an agency of the United Nations with headquarters in Montreal, Canada.
Its mandate is to promote safe, efficient and orderly development of international civil aviation, throughout the world.
