MUMBAI: The Maharashtra government has invited proposals from private companies for developing seven regional airports in the state and to set up an international airport in Pune.
The Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC) has issued a request for proposals from companies for developing regional airports in Latur, Baramati, Yavatmal, Nanded, Osmanabad, Kolhapur and Amaravati, according to tender documents posted on the government website.
