The union civil aviation ministry has allowed GoAir to keep flying despite its fleet strength falling below the mandatory 5 aircraft. GoAir had five aircraft in its fleet, but one of them has been sent abroad for maintenance. According to India's rules on aviation, an airline can start flying with even one aircraft, but has to augment the fleet to at least 5 aircraft within an year.

Go Air has been providing the worst kind of service compared to all the new airlines in India. Even Air Deccan has better on-time flights and more courteous staff. Go-Air flights get ridiculously delayed even on important sectors like Bombay-Bangalore.
The Indian passengers will not miss anything if Go Air is gone.
